Swarm 3-30-2007(again) from my home yard. So much for swarm management.
I raked most of this big swarm into a ten frame body with five frames, one a drawn comb with nectar and honey stolen from a nearby colony.
Some went back to the tree so I added a "ladder" for them to climb down.
A lot of fanning with butts in the air along the "ladder".
I didn't know if they would go down to the box but they did.
Later, after dark and when they were all inside, I closed the entrance.
